There\’s an interesting experiment going on in Palmyra, Virginia: next school season, several parents will open a new \”democratic school\”. The fledging Friendship Sudbury School will have only a handful of students at the start, but each student will have input into the school\’s curriculum, budget, and hiring decisions.
